Creating a Tribute Fund in support of Ovarian Cancer Action is a lasting way to celebrate the courage and strength of a woman touched by ovarian cancer.

Thank you for visiting Jill's fundraising page. Jill died peacefully in her sleep on Jan 10th at the Derby Royal Infirmary after a long fight with Ovarian Cancer. Jill was a big supporter of cancer charities and would prefer all donations to go to a cancer charity. Many thanks to everyone that cane to the funeral.
The fund is in memory of my lovely mum. She was a mum full of laughter, smothering cuddles and endless chatter. Her calmness in death created hope and faith to those around her. On the sad days I just remember that stillness and it makes things much easier. Here's to you mum, long may I bake cakes and fund raise for you!
If Roses grow in Heaven, Lord, please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her, I love her and I miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.
Mum would have been celebrating her 60th Birthday this year on 3rd June. The 3rd June this year will also mark the 5th anniversary of her death from ovarian cancer in 2004.She passed away in Portugal following a family holiday in the early hours of her 55th Birthday.
I am honouring my amazing Mommy Lynne, who lost her seven year battle with ovarian cancer on April 28th 2008. My Mom was an incredibly special lady who faced her battle with a great deal of grace, courage, dignity and faith - she never ever complained and always had a smile and encouraging word for everyone.
Selena died on 23rd July 2008 aged 39. She was married to Steve for 16 years and lived in Wath Upon Dearne. She also left behind her parents Peter and Kath Jackson and her brother. The family have set up this tribute in order to help raise money for ovarian cancer so other families may not have to go through the same as they did.
Patricia sadly passed away on 1st April 2009. She had bravely fought ovarian cancer for over two years. Patricia herself pledged £1000 to Ovarian cancer action which will be added to this fund shortly. It is hoped that we can match that donation here to raise £2000 in all. Thank you for giving.
She was my wife and mother to my children. She died at the age of 44 from ovarian cancer. We decided to do something in her memory.
Joan Coles, daughter of Doris and John Wilson and elder sister to Carol, was born in Bermondsey on 29th March 1947. She met her beloved husband, David, when she was 15 and they married 3 years later on 24th December 1964. She was a dedicated and devoted mother to 3 children: Deborah, Julie and Martin, whom she loved dearly.

As you probably know we lost Rosemary to Ovarian Cancer in 2007, so we want to raise as much money as we can to help Ovarian Cancer Action achieve its aim of increasing survival rates from this disease. We are aiming to raise £2,000, so anything you can do to help will be much appreciated!
This is for my mum who suffered with cancer for almost 20 years. She put up a long and brave battle with what started as ovarian cancer. I am so proud of my mum for all that she went through as she did it all with a smile and I love her so much. They say its always the best that get taken away from us and I couldnt agree more.
My sister lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer in November 2006. She was only 26 and left behind a beautiful 5 year old little girl and a distraught sister and mum and dad. Words cant describe the pain we feel everyday when we wake up and remember she is gone.
I have set up this tribute for my beautiful Mum, Diane Slinger, who unfortunately lost her battle with ovarian cancer on 27th July 2002 aged just 46 years. If we manage to raise £1,000 we can have a plaque dedicated to Mum at the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre which does vital research into ovarian cancer.
My mum and best friend Jessie, who so sadly died after a brave fight with ovarian cancer in December 2006. Even on the very day she died claimed she felt fine so as not to worry her wee brother in Canada, my mother a true inspiration to me & the bravest woman I have ever had the priviledge to meet!
Janey, My wonderful mum and my best friend. She was a great mum, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Nanny, Aunty and friend. Full of love she always put those she loved and cared for before herself even when she was ill. She lived life to the full from and early age and she was never afraid to speak her mind!!
Maureen - my Mum was a very special lady. Sadly we lost her to Ovarian cancer at the age of 59 in March 1997 after a very short illness. Mum was an inspiration to us all - a petite lady, full of fun and energy.
Margaret passed away 13/12/08 after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer only 9 weeks earlier.
Eilish was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer on 6 June 2007, at just 39 years of age. Always the life and soul of the party and the centre of attention, she's also a fun-loving, single mother to five fantastic children. Determined to carry on her life as usual - Eilish is living proof of the power of a positive mental attitude.
Natasha Hammerton, much-loved daughter, sister and friend, died from ovarian cancer in 2008. This Tribute Fund is set up in her memory to celebrate her life and her commitment to raising awareness of ovarian cancer and funds for Ovarian Cancer Action.
We, Rachel and Sharon, together with our friend Julie Stanley, have set up this Love Women Tribute Fund to honour our mother, Victoria Woods, who sadly died of ovarian cancer in 2006.
Rosemary Barr, much loved wife, mother, sister and grandmother sadly died on 9th July 2007. This fund is set up in her memory by her husband Geoff and their family. "Rose was one of life's givers,she always had time for everyone and everyone that knew her will have special memories of her,that was the kind of person she was.
Lyn Ives sadly died from ovarian cancer in October 2006. This fund is set up in her memory by her daughter Alexandra Ives Coleman.

Margaret Downey, my mother, was born Margaret Carbis on 28 February 1938. She met my father Bernard when she was aged 15 and married him on her 21st birthday. They would have celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on 28th February 2009. Heartbreakingly,this was not to be.
