Creating a Tribute Fund in support of Ovarian Cancer Action is a lasting way to celebrate the courage and strength of a woman touched by ovarian cancer.

Our dear Mum passed away on the 5th June 2013. of ovarian cancer. Mum fought so hard in the 17 months of her illness. In that time she showed us all amazing strength and courage, never complaining always thinking of others her legacy of that lives on in us.
A much loved and greatly missed wife, mother, Jannie & friend. She was determined to beat her cancer and wished to raise awareness of ovarian cancer. She persuaded her GP's surgery, dental surgery & friends to sell Ovarian cancer pins.
Mum sadly lost her 7 yr battle with ovarian cancer on 31/12/2009. On Saturday 24th April 2010 we had a tree planting ceremony for family and close friends at Weldbank Church at midday, followed by a walk around Rivington. We had another walk on 2nd April 2011 starting at the Lower Barn at Rivington.
Diane was strong, warm, intelligent and wise with a wicked sense of humour and a ready, pretty dimpled smile. She was quite simply one of life's lovely people who drew people to her effortlessly.

Logi Arasaretnam

1956 - 2014

Logi Arasaretnam was born on January 15, 1956. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family.
An amazing and beautiful Mum of four and Nana of three & bump. Brave and courageous until the end. Taken too young and forever missed. Our beautiful, kind and caring Mum lived for a far too short a time but her life was a personal triumph, against the most difficult of odds, she suceeded so brilliantly in her life's work.
A memorial website to remember Angela Mc Guckian who lived life to the full and was much loved by everyone she touched.
Christine is much loved and sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Vicky was an amazing, wife, Mum and Nana, she is missed every day. She fought bravely against her cancer as she wanted to live: to see all of her children thrive, grow up and to see new grandchildren arrive and the prospects of family weddings. Most importantly, she wanted to grow old with her husband, Robert.
Whether you knew her as Laura, Melanie, Aunty Mel or Great Aunt Mel, you will know that she was one of those people who was just always there for everyone. Luckily, my brother and I knew her as a loving mother and Dad knew her as a devoted wife - And what a natural she was at being both.

Rosy

1944 - 2005

Rosy was born in Leyland, Lancashire. on December 27, 1944. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family.
Barbara Christie was born in Amsterdam on June 21, 1946. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family.
23rd February 1951 - 20th September 1995 A loving wife to Ray and a beautiful and caring mother to Matthew and Catherine. She bravely fought for 4 years and all the time she was undergoing her treatment she never once lost her beautiful smile or even asked ‘why me’.

As many of you will know Mum fought long and hard with breast cancer, brain tumours and ovarian cancer and finally lost the battle with ovarian cancer on 9th February 2009. I've created this wall for a couple of reasons.
We, Rachel and Sharon, together with our friend Julie Stanley, have set up this Love Women Tribute Fund to honour our mother, Victoria Woods, who sadly died of ovarian cancer in 2006.
