Creating a Tribute Fund in support of Ovarian Cancer Action is a lasting way to celebrate the courage and strength of a woman touched by ovarian cancer.
A beautiful Lady who will never be forgotten, she touched so many hearts with her kind, generous nature. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, especially her girls and Grandson Jak. She loved a laugh and she would not stand for a bad word said against Liverpool FC.
I am starting this tribute fund to honour my wonderful mum who lost her battle against ovarian cancer in 2005. Mum had two main loves in her life, her family and darts and she gave both of them her all and in return her family and friends would like to remember and honour mum for always and forever.
My beloved mum, Sue; taken from us far too early but your memory lives on, not least in your beautiful grand daughter, Dotty Sue and I know that you would have been the most amazing nana.
Having visited her GP surgery with, what I now know to be classic symptoms of Ovarian Cancer, My Mum was mis-diagnosed with diverticulitus with no follow up from that GP. When the cancer was inevitably discovered it had spead to her other organs. She died within 4 months of proper diagnosis.
Angela Budibent, much-loved wife of Barry, mother to Giles and Nick, mother-in-law to Sally and Amanda, and grandmother to Benjamin, died at the age of 63 from ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed in 2003 with breast cancer, which she overcame, but five years later she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
This tribute fund is set up in memory of a wonderful Mum,wife,Grandma,Aunty and friend. She was such a special person, always there for us. I remember her constant laughter, kindness, fun, joie de vivre and singing! She would have been so proud of her six grandchildren who she sadly never met but who hold her close to their hearts.
Love, Joy and Humour filled her life.
Malcolm's Blackbird Walk
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this fund by supporting my successful walking of The Cumbria Coastal Way in memory of Denise. During the first two weeks of April 2013 I completed some 215 miles and met some wonderful, kind and generous people along the way.
This tribute fund is set up in memory of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Her short battle with ovarian cancer was fought bravely and with great dignity. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Jean was born in Bow, London on the 19th November 1938 to Bill and Jenny Pedrick.
Her youth and schooling was spent in Dagenham, Essex where she met and married Derek in 1964.
They moved to Benfleet, Essex where their children, Andrea and Paul were born.
Jean was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in November 2011 and died 18 months later.
Lucy Ednie died aged only 34 of ovarian cancer in October 2008, and had only been married for a year. Peter, her father, and Marina, her step-mother, have set up this Fund to honour Lucy's memory, so that her many friends and family can remember her in a positive and tangible way.
I have set up this tribute for my beautiful Mum, Diane Slinger, who unfortunately lost her battle with ovarian cancer on 27th July 2002 aged just 46 years.
If we manage to raise £1,000 we can have a plaque dedicated to Mum at the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre which does vital research into ovarian cancer.
My darling wife, Jean, died age 56 years of Ovarian Cancer. Jean was very bright, bubbly, witty, vivacious... I could go on! In essence Jean was a kind, caring lady, a good friend to many and for me the love of my life, still is of course.
This page is in remembrance of June, A much loved Wife, Mother, Mother in law & Grandma. June had a short but hard fight against Ovarian Cancer, but she didn’t stop fighting, not even at the very end. In memory of her, we would like to help raise awareness and help to find a cure against this cruel disease.
A loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Niece and Nanny-to-be, tragically taken from us all on Sunday 27th November 2011 at the young age of 44.
Forever and always in our hearts.
Marian was a much loved mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She died of ovarian cancer on the 20th September 2009, after being diagnosed less than a year earlier.
This fund has been set up to remember Marian and to help raise funds to fight this terrible illness.
Bernadette Ita Liddy, born 8/8/1958
Passed away peacefully on 8/4/2010
Bernadette was a beautiful, generous, kind soul who always put others first. She was a wife to Jackie, mother to Melanie, Tracy and Wayne, and Grandmother to Ella Grace, and will be forever loved and missed.
In memory of my darling mother who bravely fought Ovarian cancer for 7 years.
Please help us raise money for increased research into this dreadful disease which all too often is diagnosed too late.
Any donation is very gratefully received not only by Ovarian Cancer Action but also by our family.
If Roses grow in Heaven, Lord,
please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her, I love her and I miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
