Creating a Tribute Fund in support of Ovarian Cancer Action is a lasting way to celebrate the courage and strength of a woman touched by ovarian cancer.
Morven changed my life forever when we met in 1993 and we should have had far more than the eighteen years we were allowed together.
I am setting up this tribute page on the first anniversary of Morven's death.
Anne was an amazing lady and a very special person. She fought so bravely all the way through, stayed cheerful throughout and rarely complained. Always sharing her smile, a true inspiration to us all.
Joan Coles, daughter of Doris and John Wilson and elder sister to Carol, was born in Bermondsey on 29th March 1947.
She met her beloved husband, David, when she was 15 and they married 3 years later on 24th December 1964. She was a dedicated and devoted mother to 3 children: Deborah, Julie and Martin, whom she loved dearly.
Our beautiful mum, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully recently (January 2010, aged 60), less than 2 months after diagnosis of this destructive disease.
We were all fortunate to have been touched in our lives by this courageous, warm, funny, generous and kind lady.
My darling mother, Maxine Audley, died in 1992. I have set up this fund in her memory, and all the money I raise from events I organise in aid of Ovarian Cancer Action will be added to the fund. Please support it!
